SHORT TRACK DIVISION
The Rusty Wallace Racing Experience Short Track Division is like no other racing experience in the country, so many schools run only Cup style cars and they focus exclusively on Speedways and Super-Speedways. At RWRE we certainly love our Cup cars and we believe we have one of the finest fleets of Cup cars in the nation, but we also really enjoy getting the NASCAR style Late Models out and going to the grassroot racetracks where all of the great stars of NASCAR learned and honed their craft. There’s a reason that the drivers at NASCAR’s highest level look forward to going to NASCAR’s shortest tracks, and many of them sneak away on their off weekends to go back and race a NASCAR style Late Model at a short track. It’s the sensation of speed, the lightning quick reflexes needed at a short track, there’s nothing more amazing than a light weight Late Model at a short track and we are thrilled to be bringing that to you!!

“I’m really excited about our new short track experience. Being around a late model-style race car really reminds me of the Midwestern short tracks I ran when I started in racing. Almost every professional driver has raced a late model at some point in his or her career.
RWRE is proud to be one of the only schools going to so many amazing short tracks with these cars. Late model racing is some of the most popular racing in the country. In fact, even though my son Steve races in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, he still has a late model car that he runs whenever he gets the chance. At RWRE, we actually run the same style engine that Steve has in his car, so you know they have great power.
